It all began on a very muggy day in Houston over Memorial Day Weekend in 2019. If you have ever been to Houston in the summer, you know that this city is hot AF and when you’re outside from May through September, you’re going to need a fan to keep from getting moist in all the wrong places. So, we started Houston Fan Club to keep Houstonians cool. However, we soon realized that we had fans in other cities who also wanted to stay cool. So, in June of 2019, the Houston Fan Club officially came out of the closet and rebranded as The Gay Fan Club and the rest is history. 

We believe in giving back to 🏳️‍🌈 LGBTQIA 🏳️‍⚧️ charities and political organizations. Each year, The Gay Fan Club donates thousands of dollars to charities and provides countless giveaways, advertising, and in person support to support our queer community.

The Gay Fan Club is an active member of the Greater Houston LGBT Chamber of Commerce and the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce.
